Pope Leo XIV has proclaimed the year 2026 as the Year of Francis, saint of peace.
And so we are planning a pilgrimage walk from his home town of Assisi to Rome, the home city of Pope Leo and the worldwide Catholic Church.
Our walk will begin on Monday 12 October and conclude before St Peter’s on Sunday 25 October.
